Guiding Isles Privacy Policy

Game information stored on your device

Your puzzle placements, campaign progress, daily puzzle dates and rewards, hint balance, collected stamps, lantern selections, and audio and motion preferences are stored in the app's private storage on your device. Local reward records help prevent duplicate rewards after an interrupted advertisement.

Guiding Isles does not require an account and does not upload your puzzle save to an AzVa server. The current app has no cloud synchronization or automatic Android backup. We cannot restore progress that is lost when you clear app storage, uninstall the game, or change devices.

Advertising and consent

The app uses Google AdMob to provide advertisements and Google's User Messaging Platform to manage applicable consent choices. Optional rewarded ads can provide hints or a bonus stamp. Interstitial ads may appear after completed areas or daily puzzles.

Google's advertising SDK processes IP addresses (which can indicate approximate location), advertising and other device identifiers, and, where applicable, account-related identifiers, ad and app interactions, and diagnostic information. These are used to deliver and measure ads, analyze performance, and detect fraud. Ad personalization depends on applicable consent, regional requirements, and your settings.

Consent choices and related identifiers may be stored on the device and processed by Google to apply your choices. The game requests consent status before loading ads. Choosing not to personalize ads does not necessarily stop all advertising or the processing needed to deliver and secure ads.

Your advertising choices

Where applicable, a consent message is presented in the app. You can revisit required choices through Settings > Ad privacy choices when that option is available. The Privacy Policy entry remains available regardless of whether a consent form is required.

You can also manage or delete your advertising ID through your Android privacy or advertising settings; the exact menu varies by device. Google provides additional advertising controls. Withdrawing consent applies to future processing that relies on that consent.

Support messages and website visits

If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include, such as a device model, app version, problem description, or screenshots. We use this information to answer your request and troubleshoot the game. Please do not send passwords, payment details, or unrelated sensitive information.

Opening a website or an advertiser's link leaves the game. Website hosts and the destination service may process network and browser information under their own privacy practices. The AzVa website has a separate privacy notice.

Sharing and purposes

We do not sell your local game save or upload it for advertising. Google processes advertising information through its services as described above. Support email and website infrastructure providers process information needed to deliver those services. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or necessary to protect rights and security.

Where a legal basis is required, we rely on consent for processing that requires it, providing requested services, applicable legal obligations, and legitimate interests such as support, security, and fraud prevention. Advertising services may process information outside your country under their published safeguards.

Retention and deletion

Local game data remains until it is removed from the device. To remove it, open Android Settings > Apps > Guiding Isles > Storage (or Storage & cache) > Clear storage, or uninstall the app. This permanently removes your local progress, hints, rewards, preferences, and local advertising records. It does not delete information already processed by Google or emails you sent to us.

We keep support correspondence only as long as needed to resolve requests, maintain necessary business records, or meet legal obligations. To request deletion of information held by AzVa, email support@azvaenterprises.com with the subject Guiding Isles privacy request. We may need to verify your request and may retain information where the law permits or requires it.

Google applies its own retention and deletion rules to information it processes. Use Google's privacy and advertising controls for that information. There is no Guiding Isles cloud account to delete.

Security and permissions

Game saves use Android's private app storage. Google's Mobile Ads SDK uses encrypted connections (TLS) for data transmission. No system can guarantee absolute security.

Guiding Isles does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, or precise device location. Internet and network access support advertising and consent. Advertising-related permissions support the advertising SDK.

Children's privacy

Guiding Isles has no accounts, chat, or player profiles and does not ask children to submit names, ages, or contact information. Advertising services process device and usage information as described above. If you believe a child has provided personal information directly to us, contact support@azvaenterprises.com so we can investigate and delete information in our control as appropriate.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information, object to or restrict certain processing, withdraw consent, or complain to a data protection authority. Contact support@azvaenterprises.com to make a request about information held by AzVa. We cannot retrieve or remotely delete a game save held only on your device.

Policy updates and contact

We may update this policy when the app or its data practices change. The effective date identifies the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law.
